Hi all,
I have been asked to come up with an Excel database of all the hardware (screws, nuts, washers) that we currently use in production. I want to have the description auto populate by concatinating a few other columns. The description is limited to 32 characters so I need to create extra columns for abbreviations and so on. Our resident Excel expert has recently left the company and I have no idea how to proceed to automate the process. :dunno
It's confusing but here is how it's laid out.
A B C D E F G H I J K
B is the description
G and I are abbreviations of F and H
E and K are conditions of D and J
I want E, G, I, and K to autopop when I enter values in the other cells.
The loops would run until there are no more data in D,F,H,and J.
I have attached an example with comments to expllain what I need to do.
If anyone can help out, I would greatly appreciate it.
