When using the above method I get the following wierd results :-
1) the columns when it drops it into Excel are different from the datasheet view in Access. It is a crosstab query. Should this make a difference
2) when using rst.RecordCount it gives me -1 even though when I view the query results in Access there are 13 records. The first record comes up blank. Is this the reason. (I'm not sure how the query works - it is a legacy database I dont want to change as my Access knowledge is even less than my Excel knowledge!!!!)
