Ok.. so I have about 20 slides. In each slide, I have dates, I want to be able to update one date in one slide and get all of the dates in the rest of the slides updated as well. Is there a way to accomplish this?
It is sort of like linking all of the dates into one source so that I do not have to go and check dates in each slide. There are 20 slides (it is painful to go through them one by one and change manually).
Maybe using hyperlinks? Not sure,..if there is a macro needed here. Any insight would be much appreciated!!

Well the slide master will not work as the slides have different outlines.

Are all the dates the same? Why not just use search and replace?

That is what I thought at first.. but it would be faster to just update one date in one slide and make all of the other dates in other slides linked to that particular date and they will get updated automatically as well.
The dates can be April 2007 in one slide and 04/07 in another slide and so forth..
Would insert hyperlinks do the trick?
Cannot use search and replace all and master slide.

What version of PP?
If you have April 2007 and 04/07, do you want it to come out as May 2008 and 05/08?
"Cannot use search and replace all and master slide." -- please explain
Can you post a small sample?

Powerpoint versus 2007.
Ok so for example all slides have April 2007 or 04/07 in them. I want to change April to May and as applicable 2007 to 2008 in slide 1 and all of the slides will be updated (month and year).
Cannot use replace all and cannot use masterslide as all slides have different outlines.
Need to figure this out asap. Help please..

Where are the dates? In a textbox all by themselves, or in bulleted text or both?

Yes it can be in both.
Part of a textbox with many bullet points.
Or a standalone textbox.
Could anyone out there please help??

This wouldn't be simple - you need to post a sample file.
