Arggh. Nothing wrong with my XP machine and Excel 2002 except obsolescence, so I bit the bullet, bought a new machine and am upgrading to Windows 8.1 and Office 2013.
I've customized Excel (and Word, and Windows) extensively over the years, but my system has been mature for so long that I forgot what's built in and what I've done. I do intend to embrace the new Office applications, but I can't face that at the same time I'm getting my head around Windows 8.1 (soon Windows 10). Meanwhile I still have work to do and using 2 machines is problematic.
I'll ask later about using all my 2002 VBA code in 2013, but for now can I install Excel 2002 alongside Excel 2013 (already installed) and use both without makiing a mess? I'm posting the same message on the Word forum in case there's a difference.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
