I wrote a post here yesterday - or what I thought was yesterday, only to find that months had past without my knowledge.

I went to bed for forty winks, and I must have been abducted by something and experimented on.

I turn up to work this morning and am fired because they don't believe my story.

So I've lost my job as Interuniversal Peace Envoy. But I have been given a job in the mail room - so I guess that's something.

Just exactly which "old" job are you talking about? The intergalatic peace maker position has been made redundant. Sir BD rounded up all the "hired guns" and let them loose in the Middle East. And then, if Bob's report is correct, then Sir BD's job at the power company sounds too cushy to pass up for anything else.... Imagine laying about all day, doing nothing and getting paid for it.
