Exporting an MS Project Schedule to Excel
I am not familiar with VBA, but I know that it can be useful to perform a simple task at work. I would like to use a code that will always copy anyone's MS Project schedule and paste/export it to an Excel spreadsheet. Some schedules are longer than others, or may contain different fields (task ID vs. unique ID, etc.).
Is there a code I could use in Project to send anyone's unique schedule to an excel spreadsheet? Perhaps this would involve a logical loop based upon desired field names? Because there are so many fields that exist in Project, I could manage to make it a condition that only certain ones be used in a given view. Could someone please provide VBA code that I can use to achieve this?
Thank you.
