Not quite. Certain functions will not run in Mac Systems that will run in Windows Systems. Any Active X features will not run on a Mac. Microsoft also from a marketing point of view also restricts certain features from running in a Mac ( Perfectly understandable given why would you enable your competition to be a s good as your own product)
